Description: Philadelphia Double Shotgun by W. Keyser.

Description Overall length: 48”. Barrel length: 32”. Double barreled Philadelphia shotgun. Back action percussion locks marked “Keyser Philadelphia”. Checkered wrist. Cap box in butt at toe. William Keyser was a 2nd Street gun maker listed circa 1841-1866. Wood is refinished and barrels are cleaned. Figured buttstock with simple checkering. Brass escutcheon is replaced. Brass parts (some) are engraved. Good condition.
