Description: American Chippendale Cherry Wood Tall Clock.

Description Circa 1770 to 1820. From Snyder County, PA. Movement and dial are signed in early Pennsylvania-Dutch script, partially deciphered. Typical black forest style eight day time and strike movement with wooden plates and metal wheels. Dial is professionally retouched original tin plated signed on back with floral motif, as found. Good running order.
Condition (Excellent). Size 94" x 18 - 1/2" x 9 - 3/4".
