Drawn by Sheila Young and featured in the Ladies Home Journal from 1908 for at least the next 10 years. These are in special white leatherette album stamped in gold “Lettie Lane & Betty Bonnet Paper Doll Collection” which was available from the Lettie Lane Paper Doll Club in the 1960s or 1970, run by a collector from California. (album edges show some splitting and wear). All of the paper dolls have been cut out from the original LHJ pages. Some sets are complete and some are partials with w few missing pieces. Some have been mounted in the album with stamp hinges, and some are in labeled envelopes ready to be mounted. There are also duplicate pieces and sets of some dolls. There are about 11 identified sets of “Lettie Lane’s” family and friends, and 17 sets of “Betty Bonnet.” Plus 8 envelopes of identified dolls, clothing and accessories. Hundreds of pieces total. Hours of fun for the paper doll collector to get these mounted, identified, find missing pieces of sets, etc. My favorites are the paper dolls toy dolls which are German bisques with lovely wardrobes! Just darling! Very rare to find this album.
