France, ca. 1870, possibly by Bru, pressed pale bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate incised 4 on head, blue glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, replaced human hair wig with cork pate and kid stuffed torso with kid over wood jointed legs and upper arms with bisque lower arms. Redressed in antique polished cotton two-piece walking suit with straw bonnet and white leather shoes.
